About The Position
School Professionals is recruiting state certified teachers for substitute teacher roles in private and charter schools across New York City's five boroughs and/or parts of Long Island. The roles are available immediately. Teachers have control over their schedule and location and use a simple payment process. School Professionals is a division of the TemPositions Group of Companies and offers opportunities with private, charter, Catholic, and independent schools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least 3 months of experience in a teaching, childcare, or analogous position serving preschool through college, or a semester of student teaching, or enrollment in or completion of a master's program in education.
- State teaching certification.
Responsibilities
- Carry out the professional duties of a classroom teacher.
- Adhere to school policies and School Professionals policies.
- Maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Report reliably and punctually for scheduled work.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive classroom environment.
