Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience working in an electrical, audio, or acoustic engineering technical environment, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience with audio or noise, vibration, harshness (NVH) test and analysis systems (e.g., Polytec LDV, Soundcheck, B&K Connect, and Artemis).

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree or PhD degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or a related field.
  • Experience with noise, vibration testing, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge in acoustic noise from electronic components such as capacitors and inductors.

Responsibilities

  • Design Google's products by owning architecture, design, and validation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., software, product design, industrial design, program management, operations, and finance) to deliver a product to market.
  • Plan and lead validation of designs.
  • Bring designs to production by setting factory test requirements.
  • Focus on eNoise mitigation, vibration optimization, failure analysis, and factory and production support.
