Responsibilities
- Conducts a comprehensive nutritional assessment to identify deficiencies, protein needs, fluid requirements, and other health factors.
- Designs meal plans that support safe weight loss, muscle preservation, and long-term health.
- Adjusts plans as the patient progresses through different stages of recovery, ensuring they meet evolving nutritional needs.
- Educates patients and families on portion control, food choices, and the importance of supplements to prevent deficiencies.
