About The Position

This is a part-time position for a Nutritional Services Team Member. The hours are either 6:30 am – 11:00 am or 9:00 am – 1:30 pm on student days, with additional days as required. The role involves assisting in food preparation, serving students and staff, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the serving area, and operating a cash register/point of sale computer. The position may be assigned to various locations, requiring a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Demonstrate aptitude or competence for assigned responsibility
• Pleasant, friendly demeanor
• Willing to become Serve Safe Certified
• Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in varying temperatures
• May be assigned to various locations; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation essential

Nice To Haves

• Food service prep experience a plus but not necessary to apply

Responsibilities

• Assist as directed in the preparation of food
• Serve students and staff from serving line
• Keep serving counter clean and restocked
• Maintain kitchen/serving area in a neat and sanitary fashion
• Ability to operate a cash register/point of sale computer
