About The Position
Finger Lakes Health is seeking Full-Time and Per Diem Nutritional Services Aides at Geneva General Hospital. This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy working with people, staying busy, and being part of a team that helps provide quality care to our patients. Our Nutritional Services team plays an important role in the patient experience. As a Nutritional Services Aide, you'll help ensure patients receive meals that are accurate, appealing, and prepared according to their specific dietary needs.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old to qualify.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Familiarity with hospital food service is a plus.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service experience is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Follow production and supply sheets to prepare the appropriate quantities of menu items.
- Meet established production schedules while maintaining quality and minimizing food waste.
- Follow portion-control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
- Prepare neat, clean, and appealing meal trays.
- Accurately follow patient diet orders and tray notes.
- Pay close attention to detail when preparing and assembling patient meals.
- Work collaboratively with the Nutritional Services team to provide excellent service to patients.
