About The Position
As the Nutritional II, you will be a vital member of a dynamic team responsible for preparing, storing, and serving a variety of foods for hospital customers and special functions.
Requirements
- Ability to recognize food items which are unsuitable for service.
- Ability to safely utilize commercial cooking and preparation equipment.
- Understand and apply basic sanitation and storage principles.
- Required to read, write and understand verbal and written instructions.
- Possess a pleasant, respectful and enthusiastic manner toward others.
Nice To Haves
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Prepares, sets up and serves hot and cold food items needed for customer meal services.
- Performs basic cooking duties.
- Cleans and sanitizes work area, equipment, and dishes.
- Maintains and sets up work area; restocking all items as needed.
- Perform cash register duties.
- Assists with other duties as assigned.
