About The Position

As a Nutritional Aide at TaraVista in Devens, Massachusetts, you will assist the Food Service Director with dietary functions as directed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures. You will work with the facility’s dietitian as necessary and implement recommended changes. Follow ServSafe hygiene procedures at all times. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, on the day shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, including every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Compensation is based on relevant experience, with a pay range of $17.50–$19.27.

Requirements

High school education preferred.
Basic reading and writing skills preferred.
Previous food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the Food Service Director with dietary functions according to established policies and procedures.
Work with the facility’s dietitian as necessary and implement recommended changes.
Follow ServSafe hygiene procedures at all times.
Assist in serving meals promptly as necessary.
Assist with daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Clean work areas and refrigerators/freezers.
Set up meals, food carts, and unit pantries as instructed.
Assist the cook in preparing snacks, sandwiches, tossed salads, and fruit salad.
Deliver and serve food to designated units.
Stock unit pantries, nursing stations, and water and fruit areas.
Perform dishwashing and cleaning procedures.
Ensure utensils and other items are readily available for the next meal.
