As a Nutrition Technician, you will be a part of a cohesive team that strives to achieve premier patient services. You will be overseeing the Tray Line and loading trays onto deliver carts for Room Service Attendants; coordinating deliveries to patients based on best practices and rhythms while problem solving when issues arise. With 391 licensed beds, the hospital provides a wide range of services, including acute medical and surgical services as well as intensive care, emergency and urgent care, inpatient/outpatient surgery, cardiac catheterization, neurology, orthopedics, oncology, urology, pulmonary, obstetrics and gynecology, outpatient diagnostic services, and adult behavioral services. POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for providing patients with menu and tray/patient meal service, for receiving and forwarding patient requests and communication to dietary staff when appropriate. Works to provide patient satisfaction with dietary and food services. This position is responsible for the diet office processes and may provide lead responsibility for diet office in absence of supervisor including making assignments for position coverage.
