This position supervises patient tray line and retail outlets including Tray Line Cooks, Cafeteria, C-Store and Catering efficiently. The coordinator ensures that staff renders excellent customer service and quality service. They also ensure that positions are filled when coworkers are off or sick and assume their position if needed or assigned. The role ensures AYR Guidelines are met (Delivery times 45 min., scanning of trays tickets 95% compliance, tickets are not holding longer than 25 minutes, etc.). The coordinator is responsible for coordinating all departmental payroll activities which includes time keeping, payroll reporting, and attendance log. They monitor all areas for compliance with standards for food safety (Date & Labeling, expiration dates, etc.) and sanitation and general safety, ensuring that tasks are completed as assigned and that staff are in complete uniform. The coordinator performs data entry for monthly tracking and ensures all items are scanned. They are responsible for financial reporting of end of month and productivity, and deliver late trays in a timely manner. The role trains and helps new staff members learn and perform job duties according to department standards and participates and completes all mandatory UT and Sodexo training. The coordinator is responsible for updating the Press Ganey board and monthly reports, ensuring the Department Goal of 95 for Press Ganey is attained. They supervise, motivate, reward, and direct employees as appropriate, ensuring that department policies, procedures and duties are followed.
