Nutrition Services Assistant - Patient Services- PRN
About The Position
This role involves providing direct patient service within the Nutrition Services department. Key responsibilities include greeting patients, delivering meal trays, assisting patients with meal setup, and performing customer service and service recovery. The position also entails picking up trays, operating and tending the dishwasher, delivering clean dishes, and performing general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal. Additionally, the role may involve assisting in food preparation like salads and desserts, assembling food trays for regular and modified diets, maintaining the tray line, taking patient meal orders, and performing office-related duties such as entering patient meal data and generating reports. In some instances, the role may require driving a company vehicle to deliver meals to outer buildings on campus.
