About The Position

Participates in maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen including, clean up of caf#, catering, special events, and dish area. Follows D-10 standards and philosophy. Maintains a safe, sanitary environment in accordance with Morris Hospital policy and IDPH and other regulatory agency regulations. Operates and properly maintains food service equipment including the dish machine.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Food service experience preferred.
  • Current Food Service Sanitation Certificate or Illinois Food Handler Training Certificate. Or must obtain one of the previously listed within 30 days of date of hire.
  • Experience with kitchen equipment preferred.
  • Must demonstrate high standards of personal cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Must demonstrate good social skills and a commitment to quality.
  • Must demonstrate a willingness to work as a member of a team.
