About The Position

Provide excellent patient meal service by preparing and delivering food trays, beverages, and desserts with attention to quality and presentation. Create a positive dining experience by assisting patients with opening packaged items and ensuring comfort during meals. Efficiently collect and handle used trays while maintaining a clean environment. Guide patients through daily menu selections by explaining options and helping them choose meals that meet their needs. Provide high-quality, patient-focused meal service by accurately communicating and implementing diet orders, ensuring each patient receives the correct tray in a timely manner. Prepare and deliver meals, beverages, and desserts with attention to presentation and safety standards. Create a positive patient experience by assisting with meal setup, opening packaged items, and supporting individuals who need help selecting meals. Clearly explain daily menu options and guide patients through appropriate food choices based on their needs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by collecting and processing used trays, sanitizing kitchen areas, and completing routine and scheduled deep-cleaning tasks. Support unit operations by stocking, rotating, and monitoring nourishments, supplements, and supplies. Collaborate effectively with clinical dietitians and care teams by communicating patient intake concerns and dietary needs. Build strong working relationships with team members and unit staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Participate in onboarding and training of new employees as needed and deliver age-appropriate service by understanding patient dietary needs across the lifespan while following departmental policies and procedures.
