About The Position
Somerfield Health Center, a 5-star, 66-bed skilled nursing facility with 11 assisted living suites, is seeking a hospitality-minded Nutrition Server/Dietary Aide to assist in preparing and serving health center residents. Requirements
- Previous experience working in food and nutrition operations in a health care setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of the Food Services Manager and Registered Dietician, Dietary Aides assist in preparing and serving therapeutic diet meals, salads, and desserts in the health center.
- Sets up and breaks down tables in health center dining rooms after meals.
- Transports foods and supplies to and from the health center.
- Maintains station equipment and work area in safe and sanitary condition.
- Works cooperatively with other food and beverage and nursing staff members in providing care and services to senior residents.
