About The Position

OCES is growing and expanding its services to 11 more towns in the South Shore area, including Quincy, Braintree, and Weymouth. OCES is dedicated to supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing essential information and coordinating services to promote healthy, safe living, enabling them to remain active and engaged in their communities. The organization's mission is to support independence and dignity through a talented and diverse workforce, offering vital information and services that positively impact the community. The Nutrition Program Assistant will provide support in various areas of the Nutrition Program, including consumer records, billing, and reporting.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Ability to respect workplace and provider privacy and confidentiality.
• Ability to deal effectively with statistical and financial data.
• Knowledge of general office procedures and equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• Associates Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and update consumer data within appropriate record systems.
• Provide accurate reports as required by the department.
• Assist staff in setting up intake packets and submitting/tracking PCP, ATC, NOA, and VA letters.
• Communicate with program management regarding file setup and issues with completed paperwork.
• Provide telephone coverage for the Nutrition department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
