The Office for Food and Nutrition Programs (FNP) administers federal child nutrition and food distribution programs that contribute to the health and well-being of the Commonwealth's children, by supporting nutritious meal service in day care centers, family day care homes, adult day health programs, summer meals programs and schools. These United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) programs include the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, Child and Adult Care Food Program, Summer Food Service Program, Food Distribution, Emergency Food Assistance Program, Commodity Supplemental Food Program and various USDA grants. The Financial Management Coordinator works under the direction of the Director of FNP and oversees FNP’s Financial Management Section to ensure internal and external financial management activities are efficient, effective and compliant with state and federal laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards. Additionally, the Financial Management Coordinator will oversee the School Food Authority (SFA) financial management monitoring process including the Resource Management Comprehensive Reviews and Procurement Reviews.
