Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nutrition Services, this position is responsible for counting, placing items on trays, and loading food and supplies in hot or cold transport carriers. The role involves counting and loading food and supplies from pick tickets in accordance with HACCP guidelines into hot and/or cold transport carriers in a timely manner, taking food temperatures, and operating, cleaning, and maintaining equipment. Additionally, the position may require assembling box lunches, setting up distribution equipment, assisting other departments, and serving as a substitute in any school served by Nutrition Services.
