About The Position

Under the supervision of a Child Development Center Director, the Nutrition Coordinator serves meals and snacks for children enrolled in the Child Development Center. This role follows Adult and Child Food Program guidelines and accreditation standards, sets tables, cleans up after meals, performs daily checks of refrigerator temperatures, completes necessary paperwork, and orders food weekly. The position operates in an early childhood learning environment and involves frequent contact with clients who may have illnesses and varying hygiene levels, as well as exposure to outside weather conditions. Standard office equipment is used routinely, and the noise level is typically loud.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
• A Criminal Background and Abuse check is required.
• An up to date physical, including a TB test is required.
• A fingerprint background check is also required for all Child Development Programs.
• A valid driver’s license and a driving record sufficient to qualify for agency automobile coverage.
• Maintain current CPR and First Aid Certifications.
