About The Position

This position is responsible for transporting and serving meals to patients on nursing units, assembling patient trays according to physician diet orders and patient meal selections, and answering the telephone in the call center to enter patient meal selections into the diet office software. The role also involves working in the dishroom to wash pots and dishes using the dish machine, and delivering supplies to nursing units or other departments.

Requirements

• Must have basic math skills.
• Must be trainable on the diet office software and hospital information system.
• Must be able to use the printer, telephone, copier and calculator.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities
