About The Position
The Nutrition Assistant I is a regular part-time position within the Nutrition and Food Services department at Stratford General Hospital. This role involves providing nutritional support and food services within the healthcare setting. The position operates on a 7-day work week with 4 and 8-hour shifts, including days and evenings, which may be subject to change.
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 education
- Completion of Safe Food Handler’s Certificate
- Previous food and customer service experience
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position
- Computer Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets desirable
