Nursing Team Lead
About The Position
Mountain Community Health Partnership (MCHP) is seeking a full-time Nursing Team Lead. The role combines direct patient care with front-line leadership for clinical staff. The Nursing Team Lead supports daily clinic operations, promotes high standards of patient care, and serves as a liaison between nursing staff and management. The position works under the supervision of the RN Nurse Manager and clinical providers and functions as a clinical resource for licensed and unlicensed team members. It requires strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina Registered Nurse licensure.
- Minimum of two years of medical office experience.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Sound judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality and respect.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Prior lead, supervisory, or management experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing and clinical support staff.
- Coordinate and support patient flow to ensure timely, efficient care.
- Implement approved standing orders, protocols, vaccinations, screenings, and lab orders.
- Participate in daily huddles and quality improvement activities.
- Organize and delegate clinical duties according to scope.
- Support staff scheduling, problem resolution, and workflow coordination.
- Assist with onboarding, orientation, and training of clinical staff.
- Act as a liaison between staff and management, escalating concerns as appropriate.
