Health Solutions West•Grand Junction, CO
•$80,967 - $109,131•Onsite

About The Position

Health Solutions West is the Western slope’s largest behavioral health care organization, covering more than 23,000 square miles across 10 counties. With over 250 employees in Western Colorado, you would be joining a mighty team of support and administrative staff, case managers, clinicians, physicians, nurses, and others in our efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of our community. The SUD Nursing Supervisor provides clinical and operational leadership for nursing services across Health Solutions West's Withdrawal Management and Residential Treatment programs. The SUD Nursing Supervisor directly supervises all nursing staff assigned to these programs, including the Withdrawal Management Lead RN and Residential Lead RN. The position also provides matrix supervision to employees serving in the QMAP role in collaboration with clinical and program leadership. The supervisor is responsible for improving the quality, consistency, safety, and effectiveness of nursing and medication-support practices through standardized processes, staff education, competency development, clinical supervision, and continuous quality improvement. This is a nursing leadership position rather than a staffing or shift-coverage role. The SUD Nursing Supervisor does not routinely develop staff schedules, manage daily shift assignments, or provide coverage for open nursing shifts. The supervisor works with the Lead RNs, program leadership, medical providers, nursing staff, and QMAPs to ensure staff have the training, tools, expectations, and support necessary to provide high-quality care.
