About The Position
Saratoga Medical is hiring one Nursing Supervisor for an onsite contract opportunity at a long-term care facility serving veterans in Bemidji, Minnesota. The contract may be extended. The Nursing Supervisor oversees nursing staff and daily nursing operations. The schedule is 40 hours per week onsite, plus on-call availability and after-hours consultations.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Minnesota RN license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- At least 3 years of long-term care nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or charge role.
- Knowledge of 42 CFR Part 483 and Minnesota long-term care rules.
- Ability to pass the Minnesota DHS background study and criminal background check.
- TB screening and immunizations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs/TMAs.
- Handle staffing assignments, rounding, and changes in residents' conditions.
- Maintain survey readiness and plans of correction.
- Monitor high-risk areas, including falls and pressure injuries.
- Complete incident reporting under the Vulnerable Adults Act.
- Transfer knowledge to permanent staff.
