About The Position

The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership, coordination, and oversight of nursing operations throughout the hospital during assigned shifts. This role ensures high-quality patient care, adherence to regulatory standards, and effective staffing and resource management. The Nursing Supervisor serves as a clinical and administrative resource to nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate or Bachelor’s degree required).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of recent acute care nursing experience.
  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
  • ACLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  • Sound clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of hospital operations, staffing models, and regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and hospital information systems.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the hospital for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred.
  • Prior leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred.
