Nursing Supervisor (RN) - Full-time Day / $15,000 sign-on bonus!
About The Position
A new 60-bed medical rehabilitation hospital, a partnership between AtlantiCare and Select Medical, is opening in August 2026 and will serve patients in southeastern New Jersey. The hospital is led by a physiatrist and staffed by a multidisciplinary team including rehabilitation nurses, physical, occupational, and speech-language therapists, dietitians, and case managers. The hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care for individuals with various medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges, including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas.
Requirements
- Valid State RN License is required.
- BLS is required at hire.
- Certified ACLS required within first 6 months of hire/promotion into Nursing Supervisor position.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- One or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
- CRRN preferred
Responsibilities
- Direct assigned nursing personnel, serving as a resource person and consultant.
- Provide and oversee nursing care.
- Implement hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives.
- Maintain approved standards of patient care.
- Collaborate with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.
- Help patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.
- Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
- Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
- Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
- Promoting continuous quality improvement.
- Instructing and counseling patients/families.
