Requirements

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides.
Current BLS and ACLS certification is required.
2 years preferred of medical-surgical nursing or equivalent required.
Long Term Acute Care or rehabilitation nursing and/or management level experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Supervision and coordination of patient care for the nursing units.
Problem solving.
Providing adequate staffing.
Monitoring work performance and providing appropriate feedback to employees regarding work performance and behavior.
Interpreting, implementing and enforcing hospital policy.
Assuming responsibility for nursing administrative decisions in the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer, if applicable.
Performing other related duties as assigned or requested.
