Nursing Supervisor (LPN Unit Manager)
About The Position
This is a nursing leadership position in a skilled nursing facility. The role involves assessing resident needs, developing individualized care plans, administering nursing care, evaluating care, and supervising nursing assistants and other personnel. The supervision must adhere to current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The position requires following all health, sanitary, and infection control policies and maintaining established standards of practice. Requirements
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as a LPN within the state in which you work
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to carry out both verbal and written directions
- Good interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers and community staff in the performance of duties
- Ability to observe proper safety and sanitary techniques
- Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position/assignment
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace
Responsibilities

- Follow all health, sanitary and infection control policies
- Maintain established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures
