Acts as a resource for all the team members and works closely with other interdisciplinary teams to maintain best practice workflows and keep issues to a minimum.
Responsibilities
- Supervises nursing staff, schedule shifts and their day-to-day duties on behalf of nursing leadership.
- Perform administrative duties including scheduling nursing shifts.
- Collaborates with other departments and programs to achieve interdisciplinary improvements.
- Maintains a safe environment for staff and patients through awareness of surroundings and participation in the safety program.
- Identifies and solves patients concerns, questions, and suggestions to ensure quality care is delivered.
- Collaborates to problem solve and make decisions to achieve desired outcomes
- Establishes effective working relationships with cross-functional team(s)
