Grandview Kids provides specialized programs, rehabilitation services, and outpatient clinical treatments to children and youth with physical, communication, and developmental needs. These services are delivered at the Centre, in the community, at schools, and in-home, encompassing medical consultation, assessment, diagnosis, audiology, autism support, complex care, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, respite services, social work, speech-language pathology, therapeutic recreation, and family engagement. This specific position is for a Nursing Student to work at their summer camps for children and youth aged 4-12 with physical, communication, and developmental needs, held at their Ajax location. Under the general direction of the Program Manager, Inclusive Recreation, the Summer Camp Nursing Student will provide and assist with client’s personal care, ensuring dignity and safety. This role also involves working in a team environment, assisting with camp activities, supporting departmental/Centre efforts in Quality Management (QM) activities, participating in education, orientation, and public relations as required, and maintaining a safe work environment.
