Requirements
- 18 years of age
- Ability to function independently and maturely
- Ability to read, write and carry out directions
- Ability to assemble, maintain and record data in an accurate record
- Must have sympathetic attitude toward the care of the ill
- Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross. If a candidate does not currently have their Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross the Basic Life Support, certification will be included as part of the orientation program.
- Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance.
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years experience working in a health care setting as a HUC, NA or NST or equivalent experience
- Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree
- Successful completion of a health unit coordinator program
Responsibilities
- Assisting with patient care
- Performing receptionist duties at the station
- Maintaining patient care areas
