Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience handling high-volume scheduling in a skilled nursing or assisted living facility.
• Familiarity with state healthcare staffing ratios and Department of Health regulations.
• Extreme resilience, fast problem-solving skills, and a professional, diplomatic phone manner.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working as a CNA or scheduler in an LTC setting is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with OnShift scheduling software is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary administrator for the OnShift platform, ensuring all employee profiles and availability are accurate.
• Build schedules that strictly align with budgeted Hours Per Resident Day (PPD) mandates.
• Create and maintain 24/7 rolling schedules for RNs, LPNs, and Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Respond immediately to morning and evening shift call-offs to prevent unit understaffing.
• Monitor and adjust schedules in real time to prevent regulatory staffing standard violations.
• Contact and book contracted shift-fulfillment agencies when internal staff is unavailable.
• Cross-reference daily punch-in logs with the master schedule to track attendance violations.
• Central supply ordering for medical and care supplies.
• Organizing and stocking supplies
