About The Position

Cadia Healthcare - Pike Creek is seeking a Nursing Scheduler to join their team. This role is crucial in tracking and scheduling staff for the facility, ensuring adequate staffing levels and supporting the nursing staff by keeping schedules up-to-date. The scheduler will utilize an online scheduling program to manage staffing for the Nursing Department.

Requirements

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess excellent computer skills & knowledge of spreadsheet software.

Nice To Haves

• Scheduling experience STRONGLY preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the online scheduling program to create staffing schedules for the Nursing Department that always assures adequate staffing levels per PPD guidelines.
• Review Nursing Template in online scheduling program for accuracy & revise as needed.
• Input new hire schedule in the online scheduling program.
• Utilize the online scheduling program to alert staff of vacant shift availability & assign staff to those shifts.
• Adjust staff & schedule as necessary in the online scheduling program to compensate for all call outs, vacation coverage, or any other unforeseen circumstances to ensure coverage of all units.
