About The Position

The Nursing Scheduler Coordinator is a key team member that is responsible for the overall assurances of appropriate staffing levels are met at all times. This role requires a supportive presence, strong organizational skills, collaboration with leadership, teamwork, and excellent interpersonal communication to ensure quick, equitable, and courteous scheduling patterns and resolutions.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a state-approved training program in medication administration.
• Indiana QMA license.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence) to residents, family members, customers, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate staffing levels are met at all times.
• Create staffing schedules that ensure the provision of quality nursing care.
• Coordinate with the Executive Director and the Director of Nursing to advise and communicate staffing schedules and needs.
• Ensure compliance with appropriate budgetary, state, and federal guidelines.
• Work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quick, equitable, and courteous scheduling patterns and resolutions.
