Provides professional nursing care to patients through the nursing process; responsible for the assigned educational components. This role implements staff training, educational programs, and other AHNCI initiatives. It also serves as a clinical liaison for QI/EBP initiatives, regulatory preparation, and EMR facilitation. Additionally, the practitioner precepts new hires to the AHNCI, provides expert direct nursing care to complex patients, and contributes to departmental, divisional, and organizational goals. Effective written and oral communication skills are essential, with collaborative feedback to clinical services.
