This full-time position supports the orientation process by developing, coordinating, facilitating, conducting, and evaluating orientation programs for nursing and other healthcare personnel. It also assists with competency management, designs educational activities to address practice gaps, and utilizes best practice standards including adult learning principles. The role provides strategies to facilitate lifelong learning, collaborates with leadership to meet education needs, and adjusts materials and teaching strategies based on learner needs and cultural awareness. The position requires evaluating and analyzing the impact of programming and establishing appropriate evaluation tools to identify knowledge, skills, and competency gaps. The role also develops and supports education needs based on specialty or department in collaboration with regional and system teams. The incumbent must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care and understand the principles of growth and development over the lifespan.
