Nursing Preceptors for Sacred Heart Davis & Henley College of Nursing FNP/DNP Students (Spring 2026 + )
About The Position
Sacred Heart University's Dr. Susan L. Davis, R.N., & Richard J. Henley College of Nursing FNP/DNP program is seeking preceptors for their Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) students. This opportunity is primarily for the Spring 2026 semester and beyond. Preceptors are needed in Pediatric, Women's Health, and Primary Care settings within the states of Connecticut, New Jersey, Vermont, and Pennsylvania. Preceptors are not employees of Sacred Heart University but may be designated as "Affiliate Faculty" with university perks. Stipends may be provided if requested and allowed by the preceptor's organization.
Requirements
- NP, MD, DO, or PA credentialed.
- Primarily in the Pediatric, Women's Health, and Primary Care settings.
- Availability for Spring 2026 semester and beyond.
- Must be located within the states of CT, NJ, VT, or PA.
Responsibilities
- Precept FNP/DNP nursing students in Pediatric, Women's Health, and Primary Care settings.
