About The Position

Ascension Via Christi, St Teresa is seeking a Nursing Manager for their Med-Surg and PCU department. This is a full-time, day shift position. Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

  • Lead and empower a dedicated nursing team through strategic hiring, mentorship, and performance development to ensure a culture of excellence.
  • Optimize unit operations by managing daily workflows and nursing resources to guarantee seamless, high-quality patient care delivery.
  • Champion clinical standards by implementing robust policies and maintaining strict regulatory compliance to safeguard patient safety and care quality.
  • Manage financial health by overseeing the unit budget and resource expenditures to ensure the department remains equipped to provide top-tier health services.
