Nursing Manager - ER
About The Position
The Clinical Manager has overall responsibility for operational and clinical management of the Emergency Department and Off Campus Emergency Department including, but not limited to, staffing/scheduling, department specific education, orientation and on boarding, performance evaluations and policy development. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Complying with Tenet policies; Implementing and revising department throughput/patient flow, core measures and promoting collaboration with ancillary departments; Maintaining/facilitating communication between the inpatient departments, physicians and ancillary departments on a regular basis regarding care and quality issues; Analyzing reports: LOS, avoidable days, disputes and associated Emergency Department metrics; Implementing and ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations relating to the functioning of the Emergency Department and Off Campus Emergency Department; All other duties assigned.
