About The Position

The Nursing Skills Lab Assistant supports the daily operation and organization of the Nursing Skills Laboratory. This position is ideal for a reliable, detail-oriented student interested in healthcare, education, or laboratory management. The assistant will help maintain inventory, organize equipment and supplies, prepare laboratory spaces for student learning activities, and assist faculty with routine lab-related tasks.

Requirements

• Current student enrolled at the college
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Ability to lift and move supplies up to 25 pounds
• Professional communication skills
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize nursing lab equipment, supplies, and storage areas
• Monitor inventory levels and report supplies that need replenishment
• Restock consumable items and assist with inventory counts
• Label, sort, and maintain educational materials and equipment
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and professional laboratory environment
• Complete other related duties as assigned by the Nursing faculty.
