Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer required.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care under nurse supervision, following healthcare policies and protocols.
- Assist with daily living activities, take vital signs, and complete assigned nursing orders.
- Observe and document patient status, reporting findings to the preceptor or appropriate staff.
- Support care plan development, assist with test results, and handle additional tasks like patient transport and environmental services.
