Nursing Intern- Intensive Care Unit
About The Position
Saint Luke's Hospital is seeking a Nursing Intern to join the Medical Intensive Care Unit. This is a paid opportunity for students currently enrolled in an accredited RN program who have completed a Fundamentals of Nursing course and have an expected graduation date in 2027/2028. The Nursing Intern performs clinical procedures and provides patient care for assigned patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. They perform direct and indirect patient care activities, provide support to other health care team members, and may perform technical tasks per unit competency validation, but are restricted from performing any licensed tasks.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited RN program.
- Completed a Fundamentals of Nursing course.
- Expected graduation date in 2027/2028.
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross certification.
