Nursing Graduate Guarantee Opportunities for Registered Nurses
About The Position
Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking upcoming graduate nurses and new nurses who are within twelve months of registering with the College of Nurses Ontario (CNO) and who have not worked in a nursing capacity within the last 6 months to participate in the Nursing Graduate Guarantee (NGG) program. HSN is a proud participant in the NGG initiative offered through the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. The NGG program is designed to support newly graduated nurses by providing them with a full-time employment opportunity for twelve (12) weeks as an introduction period to transition from theory to practice. Following the twelve (12) weeks, NGGs are bridged to full-time employment, or equivalent work.
Requirements
- Upcoming graduate nurses or new nurses.
- Within twelve months of registering with the College of Nurses Ontario (CNO).
- Have not worked in a nursing capacity within the last 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the Nursing Graduate Guarantee (NGG) program.
- Transition from theory to practice during a twelve (12) week introduction period.
- Bridge to full-time employment or equivalent work after the initial twelve (12) weeks.
