About The Position
This is a Full Time, First Shift position in the Nursing Department at AAMC, Med Surg.
Requirements
- Graduate of a RN program.
- ADN required.
- 3-5 years’ experience working as an RN in an acute care environment.
- Thorough knowledge of nursing principles and hospital policies and procedures.
- Potential for leadership.
- Currently licensed to practice as Registered Nurse in State of South Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality patient care.
- Communicate and work effectively with people.
- Assess patient's needs, including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual.
- Utilize basic computer skills.
- Complete NIMS Training, ICS100, ICS200, and IS700 within the first 90 days of hire or promotion to a clinical supervisor or provide completion certificate.
