About The Position

The Nurse Manager provides department-level operational leadership and frontline staff management within the hospital environment to maintain standards of patient care. The role is responsible for implementing nursing services in compliance with current local, state, and federal standards and regulations. The Nurse Manager monitors the quality of patient care and services and makes recommendations or adjustments as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current State Nursing License in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within one year.
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience.
• Ability to communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer knowledge.
• Ability to operate office equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Baccalaureate degree preferred.
• Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged.
• Additional languages preferred.
