Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing or psychiatric technology required.
• Four (4) years experience working as a nurse in a behavioral health field, including One (1) year of medication administration experience required.
• Valid California LVN or LPT license.
• Current CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree, preferred.
• One (1) year experience in a nursing leadership role preferred.
• Supervision for BBS hours for AMFT, ACSW, and APCC professionals (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Hiring, onboarding, training, and supervising nursing staff
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care
• Supporting the development and implementation of nursing objectives, standards, policies, and procedures
• Providing direct nursing services as needed
• Assisting with recruitment and staffing recommendations
• Overseeing nursing schedules and on-call coverage
• Ensuring accurate and timely medical record documentation
• Contributing to medication management controls and infection prevention efforts, including identifying risks and recommending corrective actions
• Providing crisis intervention support
• Facilitating departmental meetings
• Participating in leadership and program meetings
• Serving in the leadership on-call rotation
