About The Position
The Nursing Team at Messiah Lifeways is seeking dedicated Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. $3,000 Sign On Bonus available to those who qualify! Available Full Time Schedules: Evening Shift, with rotating holidays and weekends 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Night Shift, with rotating holidays and weekends 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM If you're looking for a role that fits your lifestyle and allows you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults, we’d love to meet you. The CNA provides compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting their daily living needs including personal hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and overall comfort. Care is delivered in alignment with individualized care plans and Messiah Lifeways’ commitment to dignity and respect.
Requirements
- CNA Certification (required)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort with technology: Microsoft Office, POC, Electronic Health Records
- Ability to stay organized, accurate, and focused in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- One year of long-term care experience (preferred, not required)
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with meals, nourishment, and feeding
- Support mobility needs, including transfers with mechanical or staff assistance
- Escort or transport residents to activities, appointments, therapy, and other destinations
- Observe and document resident conditions, behaviors, and appetite; report changes to nursing staff
- Use and maintain equipment and supplies responsibly and cost-effectively
