TPT - Nursing Clinicals (SP27-FA27)
About The Position
The UNM-Valencia Campus is seeking candidates for temporary, part-time faculty to teach Nursing courses in a clinical setting. This will be a continuous recruitment beginning with the spring 2027 semester. Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia county, the University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch campus of the University of New Mexico which functions as a community college in the region and is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With an emphasis on teaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transfer programs, technical vocational programs, Adult Education, and Dual Credit High School/College courses to Valencia and Socorro counties.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or nursing education
- Active NM RN License or multistate RN compact license
- At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience within the last 5 years
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree or higher in nursing or nursing education
- Experience with precepting nurses or students
- A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the University’s mission to serve local and global communities
