In an ongoing attempt to provide quality patient care the Nursing Care Attendant (NCA) will, at the direction and the discretion of the R.N., carry out individual patient care activities in a timely manner. It is the responsibility of the NCA to communicate with the R.N. and to seek clarification of assignments.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Graduation from approved school indicating completion of nursing assistant training or completion of foundations of nursing from an accredited nursing program
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Carry out individual patient care activities in a timely manner, at the direction and discretion of the R.N.
- Communicate with the R.N. and seek clarification of assignments.
