Nursing Attendant I - Cardiac Surgery - 5GN - PT - Nights At NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, nursing attendants thrive at the bedside as invaluable care providers. Nursing Attendant Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) program and have completed at least one clinical rotation OR previous certified nurses aide or nursing attendant experience, plus certification through an approved, accredited certified nurses aide training program
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association
