About The Position

This is a Per Diem / Day position for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Subacute unit, located at Corona Rehabilitation Hospital in Corona, CA. Reporting to the Director, the role involves assisting in the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of patient health. Key responsibilities include assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), promoting wellness, providing health education, and documenting patient activities. The CNA will be responsible for the personal hygiene, ADLs, vital signs, and comfort of adult and geriatric patients, including tasks such as applying ice bags, K-Pads, assisting with TC and DB, and using incentive spirometers. They will also provide emotional support and document interventions to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients. Requirements

  • Must have current, valid Certified Nurses Assistant certification.
  • Current BLS (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health of patients assigned to his/her care.
  • Assist with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living).
  • Promote wellness.
  • Provide health/education.
  • Clearly document patient activities.
  • Provide for adult and geriatric patient's personal hygiene.
  • Monitor and record vital signs.
  • Assist with application of ice bags, K-Pads.
  • Assist patient with TC and DB (Turn, Cough, and Deep Breathing).
  • Assist with use of incentive spirometer.
  • Provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Provide emotional support to patients.
  • Document interventions.
