Nursing Assistant – Medical/Surgical
About The Position
We are seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA, NA) to join our growing team at East Madison Hospital on the Medical/Surgical Inpatient floors. This role involves being a supportive partner with Registered Nurses, providing direct physical care and basic nursing procedures to medical and surgical patients. You will assist with activities of daily living, repositioning, transfers, patient mobility, intentional rounding, and performing 12 lead ECGs. The position also requires interacting and engaging with visitors, patients, and their family members to establish a trusting relationship and provide high-quality care in a state-of-the-art facility.
Requirements
- Graduate of State of Wisconsin approved Nurse Aid Training Program Required
- Listed on the State of Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry Upon Hire Required
- BLS/CPR certification within 3 months Required
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of recent experience as a Nursing Assistant Preferred
Responsibilities
